No matter where you live or what you do, one day-- somewhere, somehow-you may have to face murder. Even a church is not exempt from the evil that breeds the destruction of another person’s life.

The story opens with the first in a series of mind-boggling situations no one has an answer to and the reader is caught up in the lives of the members of the Holly Creek Christian Church. While struggling to get the proceeds necessary to build a larger building for the growing congregation, unexplained events begin putting the lives of some of its members in grave danger. Feel Pastor Wilson’s frustration as he questions his people, and then later, his desperation as it seems time is against his efforts to solve the problems by finding the culprit before one or more of his members lose their lives.

Blinded by Darkness is a mystery any member of the family can read, no matter how young. Very little violence actually takes place ‘on camera’ so to speak and absolutely no profane language is used. Still it is one of the best mysteries I’ve had the opportunity to read. If you’re one of those readers who have grown tired of violence and profane language at every turn of the phrase, you will enjoy it also.

Tony Burton is an educator, editor of the Crime and Suspense e-zine, publisher at Wolfmont Publishing, and a writer of many award-winning short stories. Blinded by Darkness is the first in a series of mysteries involving Holly Creek Christian Church. The second book, already published and in the bookstores, is entitled A Wicked Good Play. A third will soon be completed. To learn more about Tony and his writing and publishing visit the sites listed above. He lives in Georgia with his wife, Lara. He is also a new grandfather at the printing of these books.
