Trail Thoughts ~ Eric Kampmann ~ Beaufort Books ~ Faith/Inspirational/Christian

Trail Thoughts is a delightful book full of a year's worthof daily devotions. Preface written by Eric Kampmann. Scriptures come from theHoly Bible: New International Version. Bibliography supplied enabling the readerto broaden their knowledge of the concepts Mr. Kampmann provides for each day ofthe year.

Three indexes are included: Old Testament ScriptureReferences, New Testament Scripture References and Subject Index. The Old andNew Testament Scripture References supply the Scripture text for each day'sdevotion.

The Subject Index is a good tool for using the TrailThoughts devotions as a study guide for the Bible of your choice. Listed undertopic headings such as Abundance, Divine Justice and many more is the day's dateand Scripture text so the reader can cross reference the devotional by subject, read what Mr. Kampmann has learned in his spiritual walk with God, and comparethe lesson with what the Bible has to say.

Eric Kampmann's book is a little different from otherdevotionals I've used in that not only does he offer the above indexes, theentries clearly describe what he has learned rather than offer an anecdote. Irecommend Trail Thoughts to any person desiring to learn more about the Lord andhow He deals with man.
