Nick Oliver, fired from his job as analyst at TIP, rents a vacation cabin at Wonderland to rest, and plan what he would do for the rest
of his life. Then Erin Archer, daughter of a murdered PI, hunts Nick down searching for the reason her father had Nick's name in one of his reports. Nick is pulled into an investigation that leads back to the company he had worked for and to the boss who fired him.
This is a classic cozy mystery well worth reading. Herbert Holeman, with his background of criminologist in law enforcement, has
done a superb job setting up the plot and hiding the clues to this business scam Nick Oliver is involved in.
The story caught and held my interest from the beginning as it pulled me right into the story where I need to be in order to enjoy a
read. The ending is thoroughly satisfying. Looking forward to Herbert Holeman's next book.
